KOREAN GROUND BEEF AND BROCCOLI

📋 Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef (16 oz).

2 cups broccoli florets.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil.

3 cloves garlic, minced.

1 tablespoon ginger, minced.

1/4 cup soy sauce.

2 tablespoons brown sugar.

1 tablespoon sesame oil.

1 tablespoon rice vinegar.

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional).

2 green onions, sliced.

1/2 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper (optional).

Sesame seeds, for garnish.

Cooked rice, for serving.

👩‍🍳 Directions:

1️⃣ Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.

2️⃣ Add garlic and ginger to the skillet. Stir for about 1 minute until fragrant.

3️⃣ In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour over the beef and stir well.

4️⃣ Add broccoli florets and optional bell pepper slices. Stir to coat with sauce. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes, until broccoli is tender-crisp.

5️⃣ Remove from heat. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot over cooked rice.
