Guys!! I think I finally got this recipe down to perfection!
Ingredients:
2 cod fillets
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
Olive oil spray
Instructions:
Prepare the fish: Cut the cod fillets into smaller pieces if desired. Season with salt and pepper.
Set up the breading station: In three separate dishes, place the flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
Bread the fish: Dip each piece of fish in the flour, then the egg, and finally the breadcrumbs, coating it evenly.
Air fry: Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded fish in the basket, making sure they are not touching. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as tartar sauce or malt vinegar.
Tips:
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket: Cook the fish in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking.
Experiment with different breading: You can use panko breadcrumbs for a crispier coating, or try seasoned breadcrumbs for extra flavor.
Serve with sides: Pair your air fryer fish with your favorite sides, such as fries, coleslaw, or a side salad.
